Illustrative gummies and tablets, not photographs of the products compared below.
A D-mannose gummy and a chewable tablet can carry different ingredient amounts and directions. Compare the declared amounts, ingredient lists and serving basis before deciding which format fits your preferences. The examples below also come from different regional product pages, so do not assume they follow the same labeling rules.
1. Start with the serving basis
On our D-Mannose + Cranberry Gummies, the serving is 2 gummies, declaring 250 mg of D-mannose per serving, with 30 servings per container. Chewable tablet products declare their own bases. A European product, Euro Vital Pharma's D-Mannose + Cranberry Chewables, declares per daily portion of 4 tablets: 2,000 mg of D-mannose plus 90 mg of cranberry extract (of which 36 mg PACs), vitamin C and riboflavin. SC Nutra's en-sg regional page for its Waterfall D-Mannose Lemon Chewable Tablets declares a 2-tablet serving of 1,600 mg of D-mannose. Three products, three declared bases: 2 gummies, 4 tablets, 2 tablets. Compare declared amounts only after you have lined up the servings - check how many gummies or tablets each number describes, distinguish a daily portion from a serving, and follow each product's own directions. The comparison does not identify a better or equivalent dose.
2. Sugar and sweeteners: read the actual list
Our panel declares 5 g Total Sugars, including 5 g Added Sugars, per 2-gummy serving, and 20 calories - the nested "Includes" line is part of the Total, not on top of it (we walked through that in Total Sugars vs. Added Sugars on a D-Mannose Label). The two manufacturer pages are non-U.S. examples. Their text does not provide a U.S.-style Total Sugars/Added Sugars declaration: the EU product's ingredient list begins with dextrose and also names the sweeteners acesulfame K and sodium saccharin, while SC Nutra lists maltodextrin among its ingredients. First, an ingredient list without the word "sugar" can still name sugars and sweeteners - dextrose is one. Second, a label that does not declare a sugar line is not declaring zero; different labeling systems simply state things differently.
3. Different systems, different numbers
The Euro Vital Pharma page reports vitamin percentages as NRVs (nutrient reference values), not U.S. %Daily Values. SC Nutra's regional page says no NRV is established for D-mannose. These are the declarations on those pages, not a finding that each page meets every local labeling requirement. Use the actual panel and directions supplied with the product you buy; do not assume a regional web page is its U.S. label.
4. Texture is a preference, not a verdict
Our gummy Other Ingredients list names pectin. SC Nutra describes its tablets as ones that "melt in the mouth," which is the seller's product description, not a measured property. The format name alone cannot establish that a product works better, absorbs better or is better for you - and this article makes no such claim. If you take a supplement daily, the format you will actually take consistently is a legitimate personal choice; it is just not a label fact. For the other format comparisons in this series, see D-Mannose Gummies vs. Capsules: How to Read the Labels and D-Mannose Gummies vs. Powder.
The bottom line
For these examples, useful label checks include: the serving basis, the declared amount per that serving, and the sugars or sweeteners named in the ingredients - each inside its own labeling system. Line up the servings, read the actual lists, and leave texture as the preference it is.
